Pig Latin is a text-transformation app. The translation itself works entirely on your device, without an account or an internet connection. This policy explains the limited data handling involved in the free, ad-supported version of the app.
Text that you type or paste is processed only on your device to create a translation. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share that text.
The free version of Pig Latin shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process certain information, including your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general app-usage and interaction data. This data is handled by Google under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads, and you can change your choices at any time from the app's Settings.
You can limit ad personalization on your device at any time through your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
You can buy a one-time "remove ads" upgrade from within the app. This purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; the transaction is handled by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. If you buy the upgrade, ads and the associated ad data collection stop.
If you choose Copy, the translated text is placed on your device's system clipboard. This happens only after you tap the Copy button. Your device and any apps that can access its clipboard are governed by their own settings and privacy practices; you can clear the clipboard using your device controls.
Pig Latin is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Because the app shows ads, it is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families program. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children ourselves; ad-related data is collected by Google's advertising services as described above.
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
